The unbleached wool of the Siroua as well as black sheep’s wool.
In Morocco we often find weaving with black wool,
but often the color is obtained by dyeing. The problem is that the black dye
is often very chemical and does not hold well on wool.
And why dye it when there are black sheep in Morocco!


The colour spikes brought by the boucharouite technique.
For this series of weaving we wanted to enhance the waste from a French factory
specialized in silk weaving. They produce superb chiffons,
But like any industry, there are sometimes losses, inconclusive tests.
