Zellige under the stars
For the duration of this collection, we invite you on a journey between the palaces of Marrakech with their colorful zellige decorations and the desert of dunes under the stars. With the Rozlaby embroidery techniques and the knotted weaving of silk threads, we have depicted these suspended moments on table linen, rugs, and cushions.
Handwoven Zellige wool and silk cushion and rug
he first step is taken on the mosaic floors of the palaces of Marrakech. With the knotted weaving of silk threads, we have designed this graphic and geometric stroll on rugs and cushions. Walk on our silky rugs to discover the centuries-old buildings of the red city
The second step is taken while seated in the dunes under the stars. With the rozlaby embroidery technique, we have depicted these luminous points that twinkle in the night and follow the curves of the sand dunes on table linen. All colors are achieved through natural dye baths in the Marrakech workshop.

All colors (threads and fabrics) are crafted in the workshop in Marrakech using plants. Cosmos, Madder, Indigo, Crown Daisies, and other plants give bright and luminous tones to our natural materials.
Embroidered cashmere and silk.
Handwoven in off-white and black natural wool from Siroua. Enhanced by the Boucharouite technique.
In Morocco, we often find weavings with black wool, but the color is usually achieved through dyeing. The issue is that black dyeing is highly polluting and tends to bleed afterward.
And why dye the wool when there are still black sheep in Morocco?
Boucharouite Technique use pieces of fabric cut into strips, the weavers use the fabric as yarn to make knotted stitches. This technique is widely used among the Atlas Berbers to recycle old clothing into colorful woven blankets.
For this collection, we have used scraps from a French factory specializing in silk weaving. They produce beautiful muslins, but like any industry, they sometimes have losses or unsuccessful trials. We have reclaimed these scraps to give them a second life. They outline the colorful lines found on the carpet and the squares on the cushions.

Custom-made carpets, Square collection
Custom order of a wool and silk rug for a French private client. Weaving carried out on a carpet loom by the women of the Nisae Alkhire cooperative in the Chichaoua region. Hand-spun wool in the Siroua region and silk from France. The green is a bath of pomegranate and tinting with iron and the orange is obtained thanks to the sulphurous cosmos flower.
