We carefully select natural and raw materials.<\/strong> They come either from dormant stocks of French factories<\/strong>, in order to capitalize on surplus production and limit waste<\/strong>, or either local sectors<\/strong> with which we maintain a direct and durable link<\/strong>.<\/p>

Sheep wool<\/strong> comes from the mountains of theMoroccan's Atlas<\/strong>, whilst cotton<\/strong> comes from the region of Sine Saloum, in Senegal<\/strong>.<\/p>

Natural dye<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The range of colours we offer is derived from plant-based dyes<\/strong>. The recipes we use guarantee a excellent washability<\/strong> and a sun resistance<\/strong>.<\/p>

We work exclusively with deep-coloured plants<\/strong>, of which colour fastness<\/strong> has been tested and transmitted throughout history<\/strong>.<\/p>

Our shades are lively and bright<\/strong>, revealing all their intensity both on the threads<\/strong> that are on the fabrics<\/strong>.<\/p>

The dyes are produced within theBrodeuse Voyageuse's workshop in Marrakech<\/strong>, in order to master every step of the production<\/strong>. Thewater used for natural dyes<\/strong>, resource precious<\/strong>, is then recycled in the garden<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Hand embroidery <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The embroidery<\/strong> is the starting point of the Brodeuse Voyageuse project. It is a universal textile<\/strong> practice<\/strong>, shared by many cultures<\/strong> around the world. In different societies, it is passed down from generation to generation, often from mother to daughter<\/strong>, as a way to preserve gestures, know-how<\/strong> and a collective<\/strong>memory<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Kaoutar Oumenssour<\/strong> joined the studio in 2021. Originally from the Mzouda region, she learned the gestures of Rozlaby embroidery<\/strong> at a very young age with women in her village. This informal transmission<\/strong> give her a strong mastery<\/strong> of this technique, which she now practices with precision and consistency.<\/strong><\/p>
