Brodeuse Voyageuse explores contemporary embroidery

from natural fibres and dyes

The work of Camille Bertrand experience the relationship between textile and landscape. She develops works where matter, colour and gesture become means of revealing horizons and reliefs.

Her pieces are made from hand-dyed yarn and of Rozlaby embroidery. The layering of colours and the density of the thread progressively create textile compositions that evoke territories and some landscapes crossed.

Between artisanal know-how and contemporary plastic research, their work is part of a sensitive exploration of textiles as space of memory, of matter and of landscape.
